Paige is an Oklahoma City, Oklahoma based artist. She received her BFA in Filmmaking from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2018. She has historically been a jack of all trades kind of creative but is now focusing on her cute watercolor paintings. She loves drinking an ice cold Dr. Pepper in the morning, laughing with her friends, and long walks on the beach. 

ARTIST STATEMENT: 

Paige paints precious yet powerful chubby figures. These cherubic figures have their eyes closed in a state of introspection, rest, and or a refusal to perform. This is contrasted by the blush details on the face and body that show an undeniable aliveness. She paints her figures in scenes of cliche girlhood imagery, that often drifts into mysterious and magical realms. This saccharine imagery is created with bleeding ink pens and the messy mistakes only watercolors can make.
